Our client is a leading extensively integrated large scale estate in the Coast region of Kenya. The Company is looking for suitable candidates to fill the following positions

ESTATE MANAGER
The position will be based at Ziwani, in Taveta. The holder will be expected to

* Be in-charge of the estate and be responsible for its day-to-day running, human resources and other estate operations for both crop and livestock.
* Prepare business plans for the various estate enterprises and will be responsible for the financial management of the estate.
* Innovatively and efficiently run the estate for optimal productivity and profitability.
* Updating and safekeeping of all estate records and asset

The ideal candidate should:
* Have a background in Agriculture, with training at degree or Diploma level.
* Have experience in the extensive use of irrigation systems.
* Have the ability to manage a estate with extensive activities.
* Demonstrate experience in handling large scale estate equipment and machinery.
* Possess a demonstrable ability to make budgets.
* Be computer literate.
* Possess strong supervisory & management skills.
* Have at least 8 years experience in managing a estate with a workforce of over 700 employees.

Crops Manager
The holder will be responsible for:
* The preparation and management of commercial seed crop production programs.
* General seed agronomy.
* Labor sourcing and allocation.
* Crop husbandry.
* Budget making and cost analysis
* Authenticating labor cards.
* Preparation of weekly and monthly reports.
* Supervision of crops across the board.
* Providing technical support and advice as necessary.

The ideal candidate should:
* Posses at least Diploma in Agriculture.
* Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Have good knowledge of crop production.
* Have supervisory and management skills

Assistant Livestock Manager
The holder will be responsible for:
* Duty allocation and supervision
* Marketing of livestock
* Selection and purchase of breeding stocks
* Feed formulation and determining rations
* Co-ordinating vaccination, drenching, docking, etc
* Assist in designing range improvement programmes
* Maintain records of breeding, births, deaths, vaccination calendar, sales etc.

Ideal candidates shall possess:
* At least a Diploma in range or livestock management
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Sound knowledge of livestock diseases
* Supervisory and management skills
* 2 years experience in livestock supervision
