MSF France Psychologist Job Vacancy

The international humanitarian organization Medecins Sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders (France) is seeking for its HIV/TB/SGBV programme an: Experienced Psychologist

The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of the counselling team and activities in our Mathare programme.

Requirements:

Qualified clinical psychologist: postgraduate level.Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical psychology.Extensive experience in HIV/TB programmes (e.g. 2 years)Experience in dealing with survivors of sexual and gender based violence.Experience with children is essential in particular with traumatised children.Experience dealing with mentally challenged patients, refugees, a vulnerable populationStrong management skills e.g. monitoring and evaluation of human resources and programme activitiesExperience in providing on the job training to staff.Knowledge of the psychosocial needs of people residing in an urban slum setting.Able to take initiative is a must.Ability to work both independently and to work in a multidisciplinary team.Organized, dynamic, ability to lead and motivate a team, and a sense of diplomacy.Fluent level of both spoken and written English and Kiswahili.Good computer skills.Flexibility and strong commitment to the humanitarian field.Should be a holder of the necessary statutory documents (NSSF, NHIF, PIN Number)How to Apply:
