New KCC Jobs. Senior Accountant.

The New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Limited is one of the leading Dairy Company in the Country re-known for its world class brands that include KCC Butter, Ghee, Cheese, Gold Crown, Safariland and Mala among others. As part of our strategy to further strengthen and consolidate our lead, we wish to recruit dynamic and result driven persons to fill the following positions:-

We are inviting applications from qualified members of staff to fill in the following positions:-

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT- CREDIT CONTROL

Reporting to the Chief Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:-

* Supervising the credit control function in accordance with the Company’s credit control policy.
* Supervising Company treasury functions.
* Supervising payroll processing
* Providing supervision on Tax matters.
* Ensuring accuracy in data processing in all above areas.
* Preparing final reports on the above areas.
* Other duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time.

The profile

* Must be a holder of Bachelor of Commerce (accounting Option) degree or equivalent from recognized institution.
* Fully qualified Accountant with CPA (K).
* Certificate in Credit Control /Management will be an added advantage
* At least 6 years working experience of which 3 years must be in a busy accounts office in a large/medium size manufacturing company preferably in FMCG.

Essential skills include;-

* Must have good people Management skills.
* Must demonstrate sound customer care skills
* Must have at least 3 years clean driving experience and must be willing to travel extensively within the country.
* Must have knowledge in computer applications.
* Working knowledge on SAP will be an added advantage.
* Ability to develop self and others through coaching.
