CITAM Head of ICT Job Vacancy in Nairobi Kenya

Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM), wishes to fill the above position.

Purpose of Role:

To oversee and provide strategic leadership in the Information Communication Technology (ICT) function and ensure that CITAM has the ICT systems, applications, and infrastructure and support services needed to achieve excellence.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the ICT strategy for CITAMImplement, manage, monitor and undertake periodic review of ICT policy including disaster recovery.Ensuring the effective operation, security and continual improvement of existing business applications, computer hardware, and network and telephony services.Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.Build and maintain vendor relationships and manage the purchase of hardware and software products.Manage the asset life cycle for ICT goods and services procured from system providers, contractors and consultants ensuring value for money for the partnership.Provide technical advice on the sourcing, installation, upgrades, maintenance of hardware and software productsProvide support services and training to systems users.Manage all CITAM’s websites, intranet, local and wide area networks, and telephony.Coordinate licensing issues with software/hardware vendors and maintain annual maintenance contracts while ensuring information security.Be a born again mature Christian who is in agreement with the CITAM statement of faithBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Information TechnologyMCSE Certification or hands of experience in systemsCertification of Routing, Switching or hands on experience on NetworksHas knowledge of and expertise in the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.Extensive experience in hardware and software maintenance.Good leadership skills and a team player.Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.At least 3 years of experience in similar rolePlease send a cover letter, a detailed CV and names of at least three (3) referees (one of which must be your Pastor) to reach the address below on or before close of business on 20th January 2011.
