The National Council of Churches of Kenya, an umbrella organisation for Protestant Churches and Christian Organisations registered in Kenya, invites applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates, to fill the following position:
Legal Officer – Head Office

Reporting to the Human Resource and Administration Director, this position will be responsible for ensuring that the Council operates within the legal framework by providing legal and related institutional support to the Council and her subsidiaries.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized universityDiploma in Law from the Kenya School of LawA current Advocates’ Practicing Certificate3 years in a similar position in a Non Governmental settingGood understanding of court procedures and processesGood command of insurance law and practiceDemonstrable knowledge of labour law and industrial relationsExperience in conveyancing law and practiceStrong analytical and planning skillsAbility to multitask and work with minimum supervisionMature committed ChristianExcellent computer skills
