Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Area Manager will be in charge of the day to day operations of a water supply scheme and ensure that the scheme is maintained to meet expected performance.
The specific duties and responsibilities of the position will include:
Responsibilities and Duties
Supervising and coordinating scheme staff in all aspects of operation and maintenance to ensure that water services provided meet customer needsAttending and recording customer complaints/reports in order to identify areas of problems and take appropriate measuresSetting up plans and strategies to facilitate achievement of set performance targetsA university graduate with a degree in civil or water engineeringA minimum of three (3) years experience in managing water and sewerage related services in a management positionInterested candidates should forward their applications with updated CVs, names and telephone contacts of three professional referees with copies of academic, professional certificates and testimonials in envelopes clearly marked “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF AREA MANAGER’’ to:
