About the Client
Our client is one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in Europe.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver a project (New Well, Re-entry, Work-Over, Completion, Testing…) in line with Client's Oil Policy, IMS standards and procedures within the approved budget and AFE.
- Make sure that operations are managed safely as per international standards and best practices in respect of the local environment.
- Supervise the on site (Drilling, Completion, Testing) supervisors.
- Make sure that EHS is taken into account as a priority in all our operations with the support of the EHS department.
Candidates will ideally have the following:
- Petroleum industry experience (With a minimum of 10 years
- in Drilling, but also production or geology, reservoir engineer…). - site experience in Drilling Supervision.
- experience as Senior Drilling Engineer.
- High competence with well control techniques (IWCF certificate mandatory).
- Familiar with API & other recognized industry standards & recommended practices
- Engineering degree or equivalent
