Our client is the leading manufacturer, supplier and distributor of a complete range of retail, domestic and industrial, manual and electronic equipment in East Africa and is seeking to recruit for the positions of:

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
This position reports to the Chief Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
• To produce timely and reliable management information reports weekly, monthly and quarterly.
• To develop and control a centralised accounting system to ensure that accounts are effectively managed.
• To investigate variances against budgets and provide analysis of differences.
• To perform month end review of reconciliations for Accounts Payable, VAT, Fixed Assets and general ledger in the finance system.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• To prepare the quarterly VAT and PAYE return and ensure that statutory returns and deductions are filed accurately and in time.
• Hold regular meetings with management to discuss the budgetary position and agree action plans where required.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining costing models for the company

Requirements
• B.Com Hons. (Accounting) or B. Admin Hons (Accounting) or BA Hons (Econ)
• CPA Part 3 (Finalist).
• Proficiency in MS office Suite
• Exposure to Accounting Applications and working knowledge of ERPs
• 2 Years experience in similar role or demonstrable experience in Financial / Management Accounting

This is a full time position based in Nairobi.

TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVES
This position reports to the National Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsibility for achieving monthly/annual sales targets as allocated by the National Sales Manager.
• Compiling market intelligence, machine population data and competitor activities and recommend appropriate strategy to improve company market share.
• Responsibility for all categories of debt collection from customers.
• Preparation of weekly sales planning, daily call reports, and monthly sales reports in line with established procedure.
• Coordinating sales activities and managing the sales budget. Coverage of all existing equipment users in region of responsibility. Identify and report on existing or planned projects.
• Collect information on all equipment in area of responsibility.

Requirements
• BSC Mechanical /Electrical Engineering
• Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a Post Graduate qualification will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Work experience in the Mechanical or Electrical Industrial products will be an added advantage.
• Must have valid driving license
• 3 – 5 years sales experience. Experience in Industrial Products sales will be an added advantage.

These are full time positions, located in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu but with travel requirements across the Kenya and the East African region.

INVENTORY STORES SUPERVISOR
This position reports to the Chief Accountant.
Key Responsibilities

• Control of stocks as per approved policies and procedures. Receive and verify deliveries of materials/goods
• Issuance of materials to customers (Internal/external)
• Monitor the stock levels and initiate re-ordering process for spares/consumables and new goods
• Minimize/eliminate stock losses by reducing damages and monitoring the expiry dates
• Advise MD as appropriate on slow moving or obsolete stocks
• Maintain records of stores transaction documents
• Update stock levels within the MS GP software system
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
• Preparation of detailed monthly inventory reports.

Requirements
• A Business related degree
• Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies
• Proficiency in MS office Suite
• Working knowledge of ERP or related inventory software
• 2 – 3 years work experience in busy stores operations preferably in Industrial Products
