Sales Engineer Career in Kenya (70K + Comms)

We are recruiting a Sales Engineer for one of our clients.  

Salary: 40K – 70K Plus Commission 

The incumbent will specifically be responsible for the following:

• Business development by visiting potential clients to discuss possible ways of partnership working on clients’ drawings with adherence to the laid down standards and guidelines with the least time possible so as to expedite clients’ works;


• Preparation and follow up on quotations and tender documents


• Visiting potential clients to position products and services, following up to close sales and maintaining client’s database.  


• Responsible for formulating and implementing new sales and marketing strategies


• Carrying out site visits to meet clients and collect relevant data. 


• Product costing, preparing quotations, personal data collection forms and other documents.


• Providing pre-sales technical assistance, product education, after-sales support services and following up on clients.

The successful Candidate should have the following Qualifications:

• Previous experience in handling COMPRESSORS and  BOILERS is  MANDATORY


• At least three (3) years relevant work experience in a similar role


• Diploma/ Degree  in Engineering


• Superior written and oral communication skills, very articulate.


• Excellent in planning and organizing


• Result driven and oriented


• Be able to work with minimum supervision


• Extremely confident, dynamic and energetic
