Fintech Business Development Director with contacts in Asia and South America wanted.
- At least 10 years of experience in the Fintec industry, with at least 5 of those years in strategy and/or business development roles, preferably having completed related professional development courses for business
- 5+ years of experience leading teams and managing / influencing cross-functional groups
- M.Sc. level degree in a business discipline such as sales and Marketing, Finance, Management or other applicable Fintech related field.
- Track record of success in leading value creation and experience within multinational corporations, bringing an understanding of how to function within organizations of this size and global reach
- Experience in both a functional/technical role and in running a business with P&L responsibility
- Demonstrated understanding of innovation and intellectual property and a proven ability to capitalize on these assets
- Strong analytical skills, including market and competitive assessment, business case evaluation, and capital allocation alternatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create compelling presentations for the Board of Directors, internal and external stakeholders, and/or strategic partners.
- Experience working internationally and proven ability to build relationships with teams in a global environment.
- On-call availability
- Willingness and ability to travel and be away for long periods of time at a go
The successful candidate should be able to get the company into Latin America and expanding their presence in Asia. Thus, the candidate needs to demonstrate and prove active strong contacts in the regions.
