Duma Works is recruiting a Marketing Executive. 

The recruiting firm is an East African company based in Nairobi, specializing in chemicals for all walks of life – especially the so called Speciality Chemicals

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing and investigating price, demand and competition


• Devising and presenting ideas and strategies


• Planning promotional activities


• Compiling and distributing financial and statistical information


• Using spreadsheets to analyze data and spot trends


• Understand customer segmentation and product positioning


• Organizing events and product exhibitions


• Monitoring performance


• Managing campaigns on social media

Education and Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing would be an advantage


• Self starter- Integrity- People Skills and Marketing


• 2-3 year’s experience in a similar role


• Strong project management/organizational skills


• Background in consulting or making presentations


• Excellent communication and writing skills


• Attentive to details


• Experience managing social media pages


• Advantage if they have a background in Chemical/ Paint or Plastic industry.

• Technical knowledge


• Computer literacy and knowledge in MS Office
