Title: Admin and Trading Assistant
Location: Nairobi
Our client is one of the leading coffee trading companies in Kenya.
They
are looking to hire an Admin and Trading Assistant who will be responsible for
general office administration duties, provide support to the trading function
and ensure compliance with the set policies and procedures.
- To
maintain and update the trading position sheet accurately and submit the
same to management upon request - Maintain
the contract management database and ensure updates are done within
reasonable timelines. - Crosscheck
the stock sheet and update as necessary - Accurately
update Managing Director’s expenses - Assist
with general office administration - Assist
and fully understand shipping/logistics procedures and act as a backup
person
Skills
and Qualifications
- A
Graduate in Finance/Maths or related degree - IT
Skills – excellence in Excel (main software tool used by the company) - At
least 1 year Admin experience in a Freight/Logistics Company - Demonstrate
an understanding of trading and risk management - Knowledge
of shipping/logistics procedures is an added advantage - Must
be a quick learner with excellent communication skills and ambition to
grow with the company - Strong
time management skills and capability to meet deadlines - Be
detail oriented and ensure accuracy and completeness of information
communicated - Be
proactive, reliable, trustworthy and a person of high integrity.
