HR Administrator Job in Kenya




Our client, an Appliance’s

distributor is looking for a
 HR Administrator.
 


Department: Human Resources
 


Reporting to: HR

Manager

Job Purpose:


 To provide administrative support to Human

Resources functions as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • WIBA reporting and follow up through to

    conclusion

  • Ordering and Issuing of PPE as per procedure.

  • Management of the Medical Scheme; Introducing,

    deletions, replacements of members at AAR.

  • Follow up on medical cards and issuing them to

    new staff

  • Monitoring the clocking system and full

    management of the Time and Attendance system.

  • Monitoring the leave system and updating staff

    records in the system.

  • Manage the HR Master (activate new users,

    separate staff among other functions of the HR Master as well as

    monitoring its performance and timely act on complains.

  • Management of the paternity, maternity and

    sick leave and leave travel allowances.

  • Putting together all payroll information each

    month.

  • HR Induction training for new joiners and

    collection of checklist documents from new staff, and filling of HR forms

  • Carrying out background checks for new junior

    staff

  • Processing staff IDs for new staff

  • Management of the pension scheme and group

    life.  Communication with Alexander Forbes and follow up of staff

    pension funds

  • Monitoring probation periods for confirmation

    purposes, contract periods for renewal as well as the reports from HODS

    for renewal


  • Management of all Attachés contracts.

  • Filing and maintaining all staff files.

  • Monitoring the company’s Rider.

  • Any other duties that may be assigned from

    time to time by Superior.

  • 3-4 years experience in HR Administration

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business related field or

    Human Resource

  • Higher National Diploma from IHRM

  • Conversant with the labor laws

  • High level of confidentiality

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills, both written and

    verbal

  • Computer literate

  • Strong interpersonal skills
