Ndugu Transport Co. Ltd is a general

building Contractors Transporters and Manufacturers of ballast block. 

The Company is looking for
 

Candidates to fill the following

Positions.
 

Automotive Electrician (1)
 

Key Area of Responsibility

• Undertake electrical repairs on various
  
  vehicles and plant repair parts and equipment


• Maintain and repair various kinds of petrol
  
  and diesel engine motor vehicles


• Order for parts and equipment as necessary


• Liaise with agents and manufacturers on
  
  problems in order to achieve an efficient repair


• Complete all documentation and receipts,
  
  including inspection sheets, and applies signatures as appropriate


• Identify repairs required via unfair wear and
  
  tear, and advice the service manager and foreman mechanic.


• Fit and repair electrical and electronic
  
  systems and carry out tests on automotive electrical systems.

 Required Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in
  
  Electrical/Mechanical/Material/Fire/Safety Engineer ·


• 5 years’ Experience in heavy
  
  equipment/lifting/construction/material handling


• Knowledge of automotive electronics,
  
  electrical theory and circuit diagrams Knowledge of vehicle components.


• Knowledge of basic engineering


• Knowledge of Heavy Commercial Vehicle
  
  mechanics



• Excellent communication skills


• The ability to read electrical wiring diagrams
  
  Accurate and Strategic thinker


• Be of high integrity, able and willing to work
  
  long hours with minimal supervision


• Computer Literate

Automotive Mechanic (1)
Key Area of Responsibility

• Perform preventive maintenance services,
  
  diagnose, inspect and repairs of Heavy Commercial Vehicles and equipment.


• Give an estimate of materials cost on vehicles
  
  repairs and regulations. Perform all your duties within a reasonable time
  
  lines.


• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance
  
  services such as oil changes, lubrications etc.


• Conducting safety checks on machines and
  
  vehicles.


• Have proper records for spare parts.


• Maintaining clean safe work area and
  
  performing duties in accordance with company rules and procedures.


• Ensuring yard safety at all times


• Any other duties that may be assigned to you
  
  by your superiors.

• Be holders of a Diploma in Plant/Auto/Mechanical
  
  Engineering with a valid driving license with articulated class A, B, C,
  
  E.


• Have Government Trade Test I (Plant Mechanic
  
  Qualifications)


• Have a minimum of ten (10) ten years
  
  demonstrated experience in repairs and maintenance of vehicles in a busy
  
  automotive environment.


• Demonstrate good and proven experience in
  
  diagnostic and report writing skills


• Be of high integrity, able and willing to work
  
  long hours with minimal supervision.


• A valid Certificate of Good Conduct from Kenya
  
  Police Service.


• He must be of sound health


• He must undertake full responsibility for the
  
  security and safety of spare parts


• Excellent communication skills
