MAIN PURPOSE
- Analyze data (Nielsen | In-Market Sales | Trade Intelligence | RGM) and drive insights to deliver the Business and Category growth objectives.
- Define channel guidelines across Category Management levers with a focus on: –
- Driving incremental sales and profit for BIC and Retail partners
- Gain optimized distribution and visibility for BIC products in the retail environment.
- Provide analytical inputs on category opportunities.
- Drive alignment between the functions involved in Trade Marketing & Category Development (Marketing, Sales, and Nielsen, RGM) and coordinate programs and actions needed to implement recommendations.
- Lead identified category management projects.
- Translate global Category Management strategies by Category into locally relevant strategies where applicable.
- Build relationship and communication with the Marketing and Sales Teams, driving alignment on opportunities and building data credibility with the teams.
Main Responsibilities / Tasks
- Implement and drive the POSM and merchandising standards within various channels
- Provide strategically focused, decision-making support to the Marketing and Sales Departments to maximize customer focused opportunities.
- Monitor and track internal and external performance of key Marketing and Sales initiatives.
- Ensure that planograms are built on accepted industry guidelines, tapping into the Global Category Team.
- Attend meetings with Key Account Managers to assist with delivering the Category plans.
- Identify key performance gaps and opportunities across the categories.
- Tracking performance, new product innovations, pricing and distribution of competitors and their products.
- Development and maintenance of trade stories by Category aligned to Global category priorities and insights.
- Competitor analysis and understanding.
Key performance Indicators/ Key Figures
- Interaction and collaboration with key stakeholder in Sales and Marketing to develop and enhance strategies to deliver the operating plan.
- Visibility and Distribution gains of each POP.
- Build and develop sustainable collaborative relationships with external data service providers.
Requirements
Qualifications And Technical Skills
- Category Management Experience in FMCG
- Data Analytics experience within Global/International Agency
- Marketing degree with statistics as a major
- Strong computer literacy in Nielsen Software, Power BI, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
