Sales Representative

Purpose of the Positions:


 This position is responsible for managing all

aspects of the Sales function in an efficient and effective manner servicing a

defined customer list within a geographic sales territory.

The Sales Representative will manage the profitability of these customers, and

the products that are distributed within this territory



Functional Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed gross margin and volume

    targets as assigned. 

  • Be accountable for developing and actualizing

    the customer budget.

  • Develop and grow the Business through new

    business acquisition.

  • Prepare and present regular business reviews

    to both customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Communicate internally among Sales Staff,

    Finance, Operations and Distribution departments to maximize opportunities

    with customers.

  • Maintain current knowledge of the local

    market/community.

  • Initiate and evaluate opportunities for

    “continuous improvement’ throughout the geographical market area.

  • Maintain a high level of competitor knowledge

    in terms of products, pricing, discounts, promotions and sales levels.

  • Develop and implement a schedule for customer

    contact and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Develop plans and reports to measure gain/loss

    in accounts, new business with “initiatives’ in acquiring new or

    incremental business.

  • Actively manage the profitability and gross

    margin of sales territory and develop the necessary plans and corrective

    action to meet the target profitability of territory and customer base.

  • Holder of a Diploma or Certificate in Sales

    and Marketing

  • Have 1-4 years’ experience in Sales in FMCG.

Graphics Designer

Purpose of the Positions:


 Prepares visual presentations by designing art and

copy layouts.

Functional Responsibilities:



  • Meeting with Directors, Research Manager and

    Business development Manager to discuss the business objectives and

    requirements of the job;

  • Interpreting the business needs and developing

    a concept to suit their purpose;

  • Developing design briefs by gathering

    information and data through research;

  • Using innovation to redefine a design brief

    within the constraints of cost and time;

  • Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to the

    Directors

  • Working with a wide range of media, including

    photography and computer-aided design (CAD);

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering

    information and materials.

  • Plans concept by studying information and

    materials.

  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout

    of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and

    related aesthetic concepts.

  • Obtains approval of concept by submitting

    rough layout for approval.

  • Prepares finished copy and art by operating

    typesetting, printing, and similar equipment.

  • Proofreading to produce accurate and

    high-quality work;

  • Contributing ideas and design artwork to the

    overall brief;

  • Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough

    sketches;

  • Working on layouts and art working pages ready

    for print;

  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in

    new media, particularly design programs such as InDesign, QuarkXPress,

    FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver

    and Flash;

  • Developing interactive design;

 Markets products by developing and implementing

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Implements sales, marketing and advertising

    campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing

    and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing

    promotional presentations; updating calendars.


  • Tracks product line sales and costs by

    analyzing and entering sales, expense, and new business data.

  • Prepare sales & marketing reports by

Purpose of the Positions:


 Development of Marketing activities in order to

grow the Tropical Heat Brands in all Categories in order to achieve long-term

sustainable and profitable growth, via Consumer Communication, Promotions, New

Product Introduction, etc.



Be an active member of the Tropical Heat Management Team.


Functional Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Development



  • Develop LTP

  • Compile a comprehensive category plan (if

    applicable)

  • Monitor and evaluate the brand strategy.


Communication (All stakeholders)

  • Planning, implementing and monitoring of all

    Consumer and Customer Communication

  • Setting up, implementation, monitoring and

    evaluation of promotions beginning with approved briefs

    section of the brand plan.


Product Renovation/Innovation

  • Development of relevant innovative new

    products for the market

  • To ensure that packaging is appropriate and in

Purpose of the Positions:


 To

help both the retailer and the manufacturer maximize sales and increase sales

volume. This goal is accomplished through execution, education, and promotion.



Functional Responsibilities:

  • Execution of Retail Sales Merchandising By:

  • Ensuring that a proper level of stock is

    maintained and by ensuring that the merchandise is displayed appropriately

    with proper signage and favorable shelf placement. This includes setup,

    plan-o-gram execution, as well as the stocking, fronting, facing, and

    rotating of the manufacturer’s products.

  • To resolve issues that may arise as a result

    of audits, and solve problems at the store level in order to maintain the

    standards established in the initial sales agreement.

  • Training Responsibilities of a Retail Sales

    Merchandiser by: Maintaining a good rapport with employees at all levels

    is essential, and having effective communication with both employees and

    customers is critical to success.

  • Promotions Responsibilities for a Retail Sales

    Merchandiser: The retail sales merchandiser will introduce the promotion,

    gain agreement and support from the store managers, secure preferred

    product placement, re-merchandise, place signage, and generate awareness

    and enthusiasm with employees prior to the launch of the promotion.

  • Monitoring sales volume, inspecting inventory

    levels, and maintaining in-store promotional materials are key tasks

    throughout the promotional period.

  • To prepare reports and maintain customer

    relationships.

  • Holder of a Diploma or Certificate in Sales

    and Marketing

  • Have 2-4 years’ experience in Merchandising in

    FMCG.
