Human Resource Officer – Tanzania
Our client a leading Fleet Management and Vehicle Tracking solutions Wireless & Navigation, Voice and Data solutions in Tanzania is currently seeking to fill the above position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up a HR department, prepare and drive implementation of human resources and administration policies and procedures ensuring compliance consistent with best practice.
Location: Arusha
Key Responsibilities:
- Pro-actively plan, advise on, prepare and drive implementation of human resources and administration policies and procedures ensuring compliance consistent with best practice
- Advice and co-ordinate the development of staff related budgets and oversee the administration of internal operating expenditure consistent with approved budgets.
- Participate in the administration of strategic planning and decision-making of the company in a way that the organization’s human resource strategy is aligned with other business strategies.
- Keep up-to-date with legal developments and in liaison with the management ensuring compliance and mitigation of risk factors.
- Manage disciplinary and grievance matters ensuring they meet the requirements of the company policies, legal and best practice employment legislation in conjunction with the Group Human Resources Manager and executive director.
- Ensure that staff are informed and updated on approve key business and organizational issues.
- Maintain custody of and update employee records ensuring statutory compliance as required.
- Follow-up and initiate the periodic performance evaluations at supervisory staff levels.
- Prepare accurate periodic reports as required.
- Generate timely and accurate reports as required.
- Comply with company security, health and safety requirements.
- Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the management from time-to-time.
Qualifications:
- University degree / Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management
- Strong technical knowledge of current human resources management practice, is essential
- Minimum of 4 years in HR Practice
- Fluency in Swahili will be an added advantage
Preferred
- Industry experience is an added advantage.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and proven experience in
- Supervisory role in human resources planning added advantage
Salary Package: Kshs. 115,000 Net, Local Allowance, 2 Bedroom House, Transport
