Red Lands Roses Sales Officer Job in Kenya




Vacancy: Sales Officer
 



Summary: Red Lands Roses was established in 1996 in Ruiru specializing in growing and exporting T-Hybrid and spray roses of the highest quality in a range of over 100 varieties.

Key Responsibilities


  • To serve the company’s clients by selling flowers at the best prices and the freshest possible.

  • To ensure orders are prepared as per the clients and company standards and according to the confirmation sent to clients and that they are delivered in time with proper documents.

  • To organize all the logistic necessary for the exports from order preparation and control of quality standards to documentation, deliveries and follow up of deliveries.

  • Ensure all stamped invoices, packing lists and ETR invoices are verified, signed by MD and forwarded to accounts. Reconcile weekly with accounts list of missing invoices, credit notes, debit notes.

  • Ensure all the shipping documents are printed in required copies for customs and Kephis stamping including the Euro, phyto, C63, COMESA.

  • Ensure to maximise sales and push as many flowers as possible to the clients

  • Ensure flowers are sold on FIFO basis and without aging more than 4 days in storage.

  • Inform clients of new flower varieties and send them samples.

  • Co-ordinate and prepare daily shipment, send to the client’s confirmation of orders by email latest 2 days before the shipment date.

  • Daily circulate the priority varieties to be graded to the Supply Chain Manager and supervisors

  • Achieve daily/weekly/monthly and yearly budget turnover targets and price targets.

  • Preparation of reports as required

  • Manage junior sales officers


Qualifications and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business related field or equivalent

  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Excellent  presentation and communication skills

  • Analytical and logical approach to problem solving
