The Finance Administrator will be responsible for corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as implementing the financial policies of the company.
Finance Administrator Job Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and present to the Finance Committee timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
Qualifications for the Finance Administrator Job
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business administration from a recognized university
- Masters in any relevant field will be an added advantage.
- Professional qualifications – CPA/ACCA finalist and a Member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in finance
- Thorough understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Proven experience in service industry
- Experience working in a fast growing environment
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
- Excellent team leadership skills, communication, organization and presentation skills
- Fully compliant with Diocesan policies and with safe environment/child protection requirements.
