Cytonn Investments is an independent investments management firm, with offices in Nairobi, Nakuru, Nyeri and Kisumu – Kenya and D.C. Metro – U.S. We are primarily focused on offering alternative investment solutions to global and local institutional investors, individual high net-worth investors, and diaspora investors interested in the East-African region.
Our investments are in real estate and private equity. Real estate investments are made through our development affiliate, Cytonn Real Estate, where we currently have over Kshs. 82 billion (USD 820 mn) of projects under mandate across ten projects. In private equity, we invest in banking, insurance, education, and hospitality. Our financial services investments in Sub Saharan Africa are made through our Cytonn Financial Services Fund (CFSF) through which we are the 5th largest shareholder in NIC Bank in Kenya. Investments in education and hospitality are made through Cytonn Education Services and Cytonn Hospitality, respectively.
We are seeking 10 highly motivated, self-directed, team players to fill the position of Temporary Research Clerks for a period of 2 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Data collection through physical site visits to real estate projects in various locations around the Nairobi Metropolitan Area, online research and through phone calls
- Recording data collected in Microsoft Excel
- Conducting high level analysis of data collected
- Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- At least 3 months’ experience in data collection. Data collection in real estate will be an added advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of C+ in KCSE
- Computer savvy with good Microsoft excel and power point skills
- Creative, innovative with ability to think on their feet
- Eloquent communication skills in both English and Kiswahili and great interpersonal skills
- The ideal candidate should be healthy, willing to walk for long distances and have access to a computer and an android phone
