We are currently seeking experienced Senior Software Developers/Analysts with experience in working financial management systems.

Responsibility

Participate in new and existing product and feature development across multiple development teams.Providing software maintenance and development for the application implemented in Java, Oracle Forms & ReportsCreating or update technical system documentation including design documents and installation instructionsPerforming unit and system testingAttending customer meetingsAdhering to established polices and procedures to ensure integrity and quality of projectsMake recommendations to enhance and coordinate programming activities and standards to be used for all software development throughout the company.Knowledge & Skills requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 - 5 years experience with software development and relational databases.Experience in developing financial management systems.CPA part 2 qualification is an added advantageStrong programming skills/knowledge. Experience with PL/SQL, Oracle forms and reports will be an added advantage,Understanding of insurance business is an added advantage.Exposure to E-Business Suite implementations or SAP an added advantage.Java/J2EE programming experienceExperience with BPM, hibernate and 3 tier development.Ability to Perform software development tasks in a professional and effective manner.Efficiently develop and program, in a structured manner, ancillary applications, interfaces, and reports for all areas of the company.Must have solid programming skills and a sound understanding of data structures, database theory and database administration.Possess a strong understanding of software engineering principals including data normalization, structured programming and software development cycles.If you meet the above requirements, please send an application letter and detailed curriculum vitae with 3 referees to jobs@turnkeyafrica.com with “FMS Developer” as the subject heading, so as to reach us on or before December 15th, 2010.
