My client Kilimanjaro Balloon Safaris is an established travel company which has been operating out of the magnificent Amboseli Game Area since 2006 and offering the ultimate ballooning experience in Africa with the motto of “live your life”.
My client is looking at filling the position of Business Development Manager to cover its operations.
The primary responsibilities of the position will be:-
1) Identify and develop new business opportunities
2) Increase the company’s involvement with existing clients
3) Partnerships assessment and development
4) Develop and implement Sales and marketing strategies and operations
5) Information and competitive intelligence
6) Business planning and doing business proposals
7) Clear proactive business communincation
Requirements
The candidate(s) will be, mature, ambitious, highly organized, a quick thinker, team player with a
positive attitude ready to add value to the organization.
The candidate will have:
•A qualification Business Administration
•At least 3 years experience in Business Development/Sales & Marketing preferably from the
tourism sector.
•Computer skills
•Excellent business networking skills
•Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
•Total Trust
•People Management skills
•Entrepreneur spirit
•Excellent client generation skills•
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
•Ability to work with a dynamic and multicultural team
•Willingness to work from the Amboseli Game Park (Very Important)
