Water Technical Manager Job Kenya

Position: Technical Manager

Reports to: General Manager

Duties/Responsibilities

* To manage engineering works, electrical/mechanical equipments including supervising the design, plan and construction of new water projects.
* Monitor and evaluate technical operations and recommend areas for improvement on a continuous basis to ensure efficient service delivery.
* Supervise personnel under him/her; set for them targets and ensure maximum utilisation and deployment of technical staff

Qualifications and Experience

* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Water Engineering or equivalent
* Five (5) years experience in managing water/sewer infrastructure or in a busy engineering organisation/environment.
* Quality project management and professional skills
* Good inter personal skills (Both with supervisors and subordinates)
* Computer knowledge literacy and familiarity with standard office computer applications.
* Ability to work under pressure and extra hours, weekends and public holidays to meet targets and whenever called upon.
