Job Description: The affiliate program is a tool that JUMIA uses to promote the website and items on sale, through individuals (affiliates) who post/ share and publish links to items on sale on their websites/ blogs and social media pages.

The affiliate program associate runs it by introducing more affiliates, training and following up on commissions for them. 

Below are day to day duties;

• Maintaining stimulating relationships with the current affiliates in the program


• Introduce new individuals to the affiliate program


• Train new affiliates on how the program works and how to share links and campaigns


• Training affiliates on search engine optimization so that their posts receive maximum attention online


• Develop and monitor affiliate program promotions


• Daily, weekly and monthly reporting on the affiliate program


• Maintain on-going communication to affiliates on future campaigns


• Identify and implement new features to enhance the affiliate program


• Keep affiliates up to date on new products and any program enhancements


• Continually motivating affiliates to perform better


• Keeping track of affiliate sales and paying affiliates in a timely manner


• Monitoring and reporting on competitors’ affiliate campaigns and promotions

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree/Diploma in Business/ IT/ Marketing/ Digital Marketing


• Keen interest in digital marketing/ internet/ e-commerce


• Experience with search engine optimization (SEO)/ online marketing


• Previous experience promoting blogs/ websites is an added advantage


• Web development skills; (CSS/HTML/PHP) etc.


• Skills interacting with CRM tools and content management tools


• Commercial/Business sense, a business minded individual
