Kenya Film Commission (KFC) is a State Corporation established vide Legal Notice No. 10 of 2005.
The Commission, whose vision is to be the reputed film partner of choice, is mandated to promote Kenya as a centre of excellence in film production.
KFC works closely with film producers, government agencies, private organizations, professional bodies and associations in the film industry, other film commissions and other stakeholders in the film industry.

Head of Programmes

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the job holder will take lead in formulating and implementing film industry development programs.
Job Profile:
Identify, design and develop film industry programs to deliver growth of the industryDesign and manage effective stakeholder engagement programmes to ensure synergy in the film industryDesign and implement fundraising programs to support film industry development.Establish and maintain networks between the Commission and film industry partners both locally and internationally.Develop and manage a digitalized film archive with a broad selection of Kenyan produced films/videos and other relevant contentIdentify capacity gaps and implement programmes on capacity building of the film industryResearching, monitoring and evaluating performance of all film industry programsProvide effective leadership to the Programs Department all matters related to operation to ensure result based management approachesExperience in public sector performance contracting process is an added advantageWork closely with the marketing function of KFC to introduce synergised activities for the industryBachelor degree in Social SciencesMA/MSc/MBA in marketing, project management or a relevant social science7 years experience 3 of which should be in a senior management positionExperience in film production with outstanding knowledge of both local and international film industries and markets will be an added advantageDemonstrated business, marketing, project management, research and proposal writing skillsExceptional communication and presentation skillsTeam leadership and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in computer application packagesMust not in any way have conflict of interest with the position advertisedInternal Audit Manager

Reporting functionally to the Board Audit Committee and administratively to the CEO, the job holder will be responsible for ensuring that prudent methods and procedures for proper and
effective financial and other related non-financial controls are developed, implemented and complied with for optimal performance of the Commission.
Job Profile
Developing, implementing and executing Internal Audit Programs, with sound policies and procedures that will ensure that Internal Control systems and measures are developed, instituted and adhered to;Designing and executing Audit tests on transactions in accounting records for consistence, completeness, validity and accuracy of recording, in compliance with conventional audit guidelines and best practice;Assisting in the evaluation of Commission’s performance and recommending changes to improve operational efficiency;Advising the management on risk exposure to safeguard the Commission gains from any threats;Preparing Audit reports for management as well as the Board Audit Committee;Ensuring the recommendations of the Board’s Audit Committee are adopted and implemented;Developing and implementing an internal audit strategyBachelor degree in social sciences preferably Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce or Business Administration.A CPA (K) holder specialized in Auditing will be preferred. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the job holder will formulate and implement Human Resources & Administration strategies and policies for optimum development and utilization of KFC resources.
Job Profile:
Development, implementation and regular review of KFC Human Resources strategies, policies and procedures.Formulation and implementing Human Resources and Administration work plan in line with KFC performance contract.Formulation and implementation of the corporate performance management and appraisal program.Ensure proper coordination of the day-to-day operations and maximum utilization of Commission facilities such as vehicles and office equipmentsOversee all HR functions including HR planning and management succession, recruitment and selection, training and development, reward management, staff welfare, employee health and safety, employee relations, personnel administration, maintenance and separation.Ensure proper management of disasters and timely response to emergencies.Proactively advising the Commission on the best practice of managing people at work and of the labour laws as they apply to Human Resources management.Provide effective leadership to the HR and Administration teamsBachelor degree in a relevant social scienceMaster’s degree in Business Administration or in a related fieldQualification in Human Resources Management at Diploma or degree level.7 years experience 3 of which should be in a senior management positionHands-on knowledge of HRISExperience in public sector performance contracting processPossess business, managerial, administrative and people mobilization skillsTeam leadership and problem-solving abilitiesDiscretion when dealing with confidential informationProficiency in computer application packagesThese positions will attract a competitive remunerative package.
