Micro Finance Jobs. SME Loan Officer

My client is a Micro Finance Institution Incorporated in the Republic of Kenya and represented in Kenya,
Uganda, Rwanda and Sudan. My Client provides micro-credit services to salaried employees and SME
Businesses with short term financial solutions.

My client is looking at filling the position of SME Loan Officer (6 Positions) to cover the operations in
Kenya.

The primary responsibilities of the SME loan officer will be:-
1) Meeting set monthly and annual targets in terms of group formation and loan portfolio disbursement.
2) Business assessment and appraisal visits.
3) Collections and maintaining quality portfolio.
4) Ongoing customer interaction, resolving their issues and ensuring customer retention.

Requirements
The candidate(s) will be ambitious, highly organized, a quick thinker with a positive attitude ready to add
value to the organization. The candidate will have:

•A Diploma certificate in any field( Preferably in Business oriented courses)
•Basic Computer skills
•At least 2 years experience in lending and quality portfolio management in a successful MFI /
Financial Institution.
•Excellent client generation skills
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work with a dynamic and multicultural team
•Willingness to work in any of our operational areas namely Nairobi, Machakos, Thika and Nakuru.
