The County Government of Siaya e-Citizen resource site is about expanding participation in government, encouraging community involvement, promoting a strong democracy, and improving government accountability.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer enquiries from the media and other organizations
- Monitor the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs for relevant information and disseminate the same for appropriate action where necessary.
- Disseminate County Government information to the population at the local level
- Assist ward administrators and village administrators in public participation activities
- Inform the public on County Government policies and interventions
- Preform any other duties assigned by County information management officer
Requirements for Appointment
- Be a Kenyan Citizen
- Diploma in a relevant field from an institution recognized in Kenya
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience
- Computer application certificate
