About the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to foster the intellectual and social development of children in our Early Years Unit.

Responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities in this role include:

• Using games, music, artwork, films, books, computers, and other tools to teach basic educational and social skills


• Using play-based learning and hands-on teaching methods


• Teaching letter recognition, phonics, numbers, and awareness of nature and science


• Maintaining grades for the students and discussing progress with parents


• Integrating competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans


• Monitoring children’s interactions and nurturing cooperation and sharing


• Working closely with administration, staff, and other Teachers


• Encouraging creativity by organizing art and craft projects

Qualifications

Candidates require to have:

• Proven working experience as a Kindergarten Teacher, Kindergarten Assistant or Teacher Aide


• Excellent knowledge of child development the and latest education theories, trends, and best practices.


• Creative and artistic teaching abilities


• Excellent teaching and organizational skills


• Patience and flexibility


• Strong communication skills


• BSc degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Early Childhood Education or relevant license/certificate


• TSC registration certificate.
