Assistant Project Manager at Attain Enterprise Solutions Ltd

Position Overview


An Assistant Project Manager, will assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing and directing the project work of the delivery team, including scheduling, quality assurance, cost management and project documentation.


Job Responsibilities



  1. Be a voice in the strategic planning phase of upcoming projects

  2. Assist the project manager in the execution of the management plan for assigned projects end-to end including receipt of payments

  3. Supporting the project manager in the coordination of project team meetings

  4. Preparing project management reports

  5. Review project designs and contributes ideas for cutting costs

  6. Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner

  7. Ensures all project documentation is accurate, filed and uploaded

  8. Acts as a liaison between the customer and Project Manager to ensure project success

  9. Perform tasks required by the Project Manager in support of project needs

  10. Be aware of all aspects of the scopes of work so proper assistance to the Project Manager can be provided

  11. Manage the software development projects and facilitate sprint releases

  12. Ensure resource availability and allocation of the assigned projects

  13. Review project information and compile schedules in a timely manner

  14. Tracks the progress of all new and ongoing projects and maintains up-to-date notes

  15. Organize, compile and submit support documentation on completion of project

  16. Submit any required information to the client as directed by the Project Manager

  17. Report to the Project Manager for all issues

  18. Be capable of short-term coverage for the project in the event of Project Manager vacations


Qualifications/Requirements



  1. Bachelor’s in IT or related field preferred

  2. Certification in Project management i.e SCRUM, Prince2

  3. Experience with project management software i.e MS Project

  4. 4+ years of experience in project management

  5. Knowledgeable in our specific field

  6. Proficient in Microsoft Suite and other management software

  7. Organized and detail-oriented

  8. Skilled collaborator

  9. Working knowledge of necessary industry-related tools

  10. Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution

  11. Excels in a high-paced work environment

  12. Strong communication skills both oral and written

  13. Ability to multi-task effectively

  14. Focused and supportive to management at all times

  15. Self-starter who works well independently and as a team

  16. Adaptable and calm under pressure

  17. Expert problem solver
