CARE International in Kenya is looking for suitable individuals to fill the following positions within its Refugee Assistance Program in Dadaab, North Eastern Kenya.
Dadaab is a non- family duty station.
1. Housekeeper
Ref: HK/2/3/11
Reporting to the Administration Officer, the Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring general compound cleanliness, managing of the residential mini-store for cleaning and accommodation items, management of compound residential facilities and items.
The position holder will liaise with the compound plumber and electrician to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services. He/she will manage a wide range of services including overseeing laundry services for both visitors and CARE staff in the compounds.
Duties and Responsibilities
Diploma in housekeeping from a recognized institutionMust have Kenya Certificate of Secondary education certificate with a minimum of C-Two years of progressive work experience in a similar position in a reputable organizationProficient in Microsoft SuiteGood organizational and management skillsAbility to work in a team environment with staff from diverse culturesAbility to work well under pressureAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamGood customer service skillsGood Leadership and organizational skillsMust be fluent in both written and spoken English & Swahili languages2. Gender Project Officer

Reporting to the Gender and Development Coordinator, the Gender Project Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and documenting all Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) activities in one of the refugee camps.
The incumbent will supervise the Assistant Gender Project Officer and work closely with other RAP sectors.
Duties and Responsibilities
