Job Summary: Reporting to the Regional Manager – Mombasa, he/she will be responsible for providing responsive, pro-active, proficient and efficient services to the client base (primarily face to face) in order to grow market share and retain existing business. 



She/he will also be required to provide guidance to revenue account executives.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Ensure that sales Executives, CRE’s and dealers are within the monthly expected targets

  • Ensure the team is delivering desired results through supervision, tracking performance and making sure the team lives to the expectation of the organization.

  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on the performance of the revenue teams.

  • The incumbent should be able to visit all Platinum, Gold and 50% of the silver and bronze clients per quarter.

  • Establishing training needs for the revenue teams and work with the Branch Manager to ensure they are implemented. 

  • Establish and build relationships with clients and develop, retain and grow the base.

  • Generating revenue for the company by developing and maintaining income generating strategies and ensuring the team meets set sales targets.

  • Offer coaching and mentorship guidance to Revenue Account Executives in their day to day duties.

  • Be an escalation point, handle and resolve escalations from team members.

  • Ensure that all contacts with clients are documented onto MSCRM.

  • Liaise with internal service providers to ensure clients’ issues are resolved expeditiously and satisfactorily and also come up with innovative ways and ideas to prevent recurrence of problems.

  • Motivating and leading team members into successful implementation of business strategies.

  • Supervising and monitoring team performance.

  • Gathering market intelligence.

  • Conferring / consulting with the line manager to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction


 Qualifications, Training and Experience:


  • University degree in Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology or related field.

  • 2 years’ experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-centric, and highly-demanding organization in a sales or customer care or Account Management role.

  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.

  • Product knowledge (understand data market dynamics and technologies).

  • Sales and marketing exposure, with sales skills training desirable.

  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet sales targets within defined deadlines and with minimal supervision.

  • High level of initiative and a team player

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Drive, energy and results oriented.

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
