Pre-Sales Engineer to achieve increased sales revenue and profits (decrease costs), bridge gap between marketing/sales, line management and technical personnel.
We are we looking for a Solutions expert who:
- Asks a lot of questions, great listener to uncover technical challenges and business issues
- Help client visualize themselves on the solution
- Technical prowess
- Good communication skills, spoken and written
- Likeable factor
- Answering queries, providing technical advise and introducing new products
- Preparing tenders, proposals and quotations
- Providing pre-sales and post sales support
- Commercial awareness
- Autocad skills
Responsibilities for the Pre-Sales Engineer/Technician Job
- Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer queries
- Access customers met and unmet needs and recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the company
- Sources best solution for a client by recommending best service to be used in a certain area by liasing with surveyors and installers
- Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts the solution and appropriate support
- Pricing of tenders/ quotations. Best Market prices and practices
- Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support and services resources to align solution
- Providing coaching and proffesional development to team members sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, tech acumen and tech sales skills
- Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities with customers firm collaborates with sales to ensure the opportunities are effectively technically ready for the customer
- Develop technical proposals
- Someone young and willing to train may also apply
- Relevant experience of at least 2 years experience
Pre-Sales Engineer/Technician Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Telecommunications/IT/Computer Science/Electronics or Related Fields
- Various certificates preferred: CISCO, various vendor certs
