Export Promotion Council Assistant Security Warden




Export Promotion Council (EPC) is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Co-operatives.



The primary mandate of the Council is to develop and promote export of Kenya’s goods and services.



Exports

are the primary driver of our national economy and the Council wishes

to strengthen and enhance delivery of this mandate by recruiting a high

calibre, results oriented, experienced and skilled professional for the

following position:

Job Description
 



Job Description will entail:-


  1. Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property

  2. Monitoring access points and controlling entry.

  3. Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities,

  4. Ensuring effective operation of security equipment and reporting any defect

  5. Recording unusual observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

  6. Protecting the lives of the Council staff and visitors by ensuring that the working environment is safe.

  7. Operating detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited gadget into the Council’s premises.


Appointment Specifications
 



For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-


  1. KCSE mean grade D or equivalent qualification

  2. Fulfilling the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution

  1. Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)

  2. Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)

  3. Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)

  4. Directorate of Criminal Investigations Department (DCI)

  5. Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
