Management Accountant Job Vacancy in Kenya - Construction Company

Our client is a leading construction company, which has played a pivotal role in the development of infrastructure projects in Kenya.

They pride themselves as being the leading indigenous construction company in Kenya, from humble beginnings in 1995.

The company seeks to recruit a Management Accountant.

The incumbent will be responsible for the analysis and reporting on key financial data within the organisation, ensuring that managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information.

The Position

The position holder will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key responsibilities will be:

Prepare monthly management reports;Prepare reports on recurring expenses;Prepare cash flow forecast and budgets; analyze the Company’s annual, quarterly and monthly budgets.Compute depreciation of the new investments manually;Gather statistics and compute cost allocation;Hold regular meetings with management to discuss the budgetary position and agree action plans where required; Explore and recommend ways to decrease the expenses of the company including tax cuts, etc;Be involved in corporate strategic planning initiatives and control the costs of products developments or new projects the company may be planning.The Ideal Candidate should have;
B. Com. Degree (Accounting or Finance) or Business AdministrationCPA (K); Computer Literacy; Strong knowledge of using Accounting SoftwaresAt least 5 years as a management accountantDemonstrable experience of working in management accounting or financial managementGood knowledge of budgeting and forecasting issues and techniquesEffective communication and interpersonal skills.If you are qualified and up to the challenge, please send your resume and day time contact to the address below clearly stating the job title (Management Accountant).
