EHS Logistics Advisor – Kenya
Residential or 6/2 rotation
To support the Logistics Manager with supervision and co-ordination of safety matters on Road, Aviation, Marine, Lifting and Accommodation. Manage external vehicle inspection/crane & lifting providers. Manage Vehicle tracking system & use it in improving field Road Safety
" Manage the Logistics Vehicle inspection services provider
" Manage the Lifting/Cranes inspection services provider
" Manage the G4S Vehicle Tracking activity
" Monitor EHS for all Client road movements, rig moves Contractors, all field logistics Third Party equipment contractors in Naiorobi, Mombasa and field locations
" Monitor EHS at crane/lifting locations
" Monitor EHS at all air locations
" Monitor EHS and effectiveness of Road Patrollers
" Perform Rig Movement and OOG risk assessments
" Monitor EHS at warehouse/yard facilities
" Ensuring Third Party conformity to Client EHS Standards
" Support to Incident Investigation
" Implementation of Defensive Driving in Field
" Support Marine Section with enhancing safety aspects
" Support Aviation Section on improving aviation safety
" Monitor Hotel/Accommodation safety aspects
" Liaise with Local Content/C&P/Other in the delivery of EHS communications and supplier development for Logistics and Lifting related activities
" Liaise with EHS to develop and implement risk based analysis of Logistics operations
" Review and enhance Logistics operating procedures to conform to EHS standards
Person Specification
" Degree or Diploma in Business Studies, Logistics and supply chain management
" Postgraduate qualifications in road transport management
" NEBOSH qualifications
" Relevant Experience in Oil and gas Operations
" At least 10 years of Experience Logistics, Health & Safety
" Awareness and exposure to cranes/lifting operations
" Experience in the management of Third Party Logistics providers or Own Fleet operations
" Excellent skills: MS Word, Power Point, Excel.
" Good written & verbal skills
" Strong engagement skills
" Strong analytical skills
" Personal effectiveness
" Strong interpersonal skills.
