This is an excellent opportunity to head up the Engineering function in the business and to implement change management from an Engineering perspective. Supply Chain Management will also fall under your remit and you will be managing a team of designers, programmers, planners, buyers and stores people.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will:
- Actively promote, support and engage in continuous improvement policies and ensure full sustainability of these projects through best operational practices.

The right candidate will:
- Be Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or in a similar subject.
- Have operated in an Engineering Management role providing leadership to up to 20 people.
- Have clear evidence of managing a department, where a culture change has been needed.
- Have a strong ability to plan & prioritise heavy and diverse workloads to self and others, also demonstrating sound problem solving abilities, organisation skills and keen attention to detail.
- Be an excellent communicator - both written and verbal - at all levels, demonstrating the ability to influence and negotiate where necessary.
- Have an understanding of Supply Chain and best practice procedures.
