A leading Engineering firm that specializes in Industrial training seeks to recruit a suitable candidate for the following post:

Personal Assistant.
An exciting career opportunity has risen for a highly motivated and enterprising individual to work as the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, (MD) reporting to the Managing Director.

The successful candidate’s principal purpose will be managing the MDs diary and overall company administration.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for managing and maintaining the Managing Directors diary.
* Access and respond to the MDs emails
* Attend meeting on behalf of the MD.
* Is in charge of the overall company administration.
* Monitor and evaluate the company’s progress on a weekly basis.
* Manages and co-ordinates the different arms of the business
* Solve the company’s interlink conflicts.
* Represent the company to prospective clients

Qualifications & Knowledge
* A diploma in Business Administration / and or Secretarial studies
* An outing going personality
* 2 years relevant experience in company administration/secretarial role
* Experience in a similar role will be an added advantage
* Sound judgment and problem solving skills
* Strong negotiation and customer care skills
* MUST be a Team player
* Strong presentation skills
* Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
* Excellent planning and organizing skills
* Have HIGH level of confidentiality and integrity
* Must be 26years and above of age
* Well groomed individual to represent the image of the company
* Very confident and good in articulation.
* Good in record management
* Vast experience in proposal writing and concept notes
* A flare for marketing is a MUST
* Good in maintaining client relations
* Can work under pressure and for long hours.

Remuneration
Salary is commensurate with demonstrable hard work, ambition, willingness to grow professionally, but will offer a monthly gross base of Kes 25,000/= and the rest will be commission based upto Kes 20,000/=.
