Finance Manager Job Vacancy in Kenya

The client is in the Advertising Industry, producing promotional material. They are urgently looking for an experienced Finance Manager.

Reporting to the MD, the Finance Manager will spearhead the development, planning, implementation and monitoring of financial strategies in line with the overall business strategy. The position requires a strategic thinker who understands and is involved in all aspects of running the business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Overall responsible for the Finance DepartmentProvide leadership and direction in the formulation and implementation of financial management strategies and policiesContribute to strategic planning while advising the Senior Management team on financial mattersManage the planning, designing and execution of proper accounting systemsPrepare financial and accounts reportsPreparation of and ensuring adherence to annual budgets based on work plansEnsure integrity in financial and management reportingManage annual audits, including preparation of financial statementsMonitoring financial expenditure trends and ensure cash flow managementAccurate preparation of financial statements and overall expenditure of the organization.Required skills and qualifications:
Prospective applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.An MBA will be an added advantage.Must be a CPA (K) or equivalent.Minimum 3 - 5 years management experience in Financial Management and Accounting.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Proficiency in working with Accounts based computer applications.Honesty, confidentiality and integrity.Demonstrated high level of maturity and good leadership skills.Ability to work within strict deadlines.Excellent organizational, planning and analytical skills.Ability to drive change.A good team player who is customer focused.Attention to detail.How to apply
