To manage the human resources and administration function of the company and promote a
conducive working environment with a skilled and motivated workforce to ensure the achievement
the company’s objectives.
•Develop and implement HR management policies and procedures and monitor all HR activities
and practices to ensure compliance.
•
Manage the recruitment process in a manner that ensures that right calibre of employees is
hired and that new employees receive proper instructions regarding their duties and terms of
employment.
•
Generate policies and procedures for performance management process and all related
functions including staff appraisal, training planning and implementation and incentive
schemes.
•
Manage industrial relations matters and offer training, advice and general guidance to
managers and supervisors on labour laws and related market practices so as to ensure a
harmonious work environment.
•
Oversee and coordinate employee welfare, device and run welfare schemes including medical
and other insurances. Also take charge of the running of the staff canteen.
•
Manage disciplinary matters across the company and handle staff grievances in a prompt,
conscientious manner.
•
Train managers and supervisors on basic staff management and disciplinary skills.
•
Continually review and update the terms and conditions of service of employees to ensure that
the company remains within common market practice and communicate to the staff
appropriately.
•
Oversee the processing of the payroll.
•
Take charge of the maintenance of the building including the office cleanliness, repairs and
maintenance, etc.
•
Take charge of local purchases including stationery, sundries, etc
•
Oversee the management of the fleet.
REQUIREMENTS
•
A business degree and a diploma in Human Resources Management.
•
At least five (5) years of experience in human resource management.
•
Experience of developing and implementing HR Policies including recruitment, learning and
development and performance management processes and procedures.
•
Experience in CBA negotiations and union management is a must.
•
Sound knowledge of Labor Laws and ILO Standards.
•
Global understanding of HR aspects and recent concepts of HR.
•
High degree of integrity, business acumen, proficiency in English, very good communication and
interpersonal skills, negotiation skills.
