Voice Engineer Job Vacancy in Kenya

Our client a Kenyan medium sized organization providing value added reseller of VoIP, IP PBX, Wi-Fi and microwave solutions is recruiting a Voice Engineer with a bias to IP voice solutions.

Reporting to the CEO, the position serves to effectively design, present, implement, manage and support the next generation voice architecture.

Core responsibilities:

Design, install, and commission, manage and support VoIP and IP Telephony solutionsProject management of all solution deployment projectsPre-sales assistance to the sales team on VoIP and IP Telephony requirementsMake customer presentations in conjunction with sales team Manage support contracts, SLA’s and all install base infrastructureManage the companies service portfolio including financial target achievement, budgeting and growthProduct development in conjunction with marketing teamAny other duty as assigned by the CEO Suitable candidates MUST have the following minimum qualifications:
University degree or HND in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or any other related course Diploma graduates with 3 years progressive voice experience can also applyGood understanding of business processes and customer managementHolders of Cisco Certified Voice Professionals / other manufacturer certifications on voice will have an added advantage 1 year experience in handling voice solutions and or IP TelephonyWorking experience with asterisks or any of its derivativesWorking experience with service provider architecture will be an added advantageGood interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levelsGood planning and organizational skillsInterested and suitably qualified candidates should send their detailed cover letter and CV indicating their current remuneration to recruit@chevan.co.ke so as to reach on or before 15th August 2011.
