We are a group of Gaming Casinos located in East Africa. We have grown fast and are still growing; consequently we are looking for Executive Management Staff.
Successful candidates will serve initially and for a short period as Pit Bosses in order that we may see them in action and also that they can get to know us and how we work.
You have a pleasant demeanor. You are approachable and a good listener. You are gracious, sensitive and patient and put extra effort into making others feel comfortable. You have no prejudices at all, neither religion, ethnicity, race nor gender. You are as kind to the little player as you are to the superstars.
Of course you know all about the games, but you also have a good knowledge about maintenance, especially slots machines, and security.
It does not matter if you learnt your management skills in university or on the job so long as you understand basic accounting and reports and can deal effectively with customers, staff, officials and politicians. You set and meet goals, anticipate future challenges and solve problems as a matter of course.
You are not a clock-watcher (because we work long hours when it is necessary and it’s often necessary). You do not tire easily (because we work on our feet).
You communicate well in English and at least one other language. You are between 30 and 45 years of age.
You have no problem with being moved about from Casino to Casino and even from city to city within our area i.e. to be placed wherever your employer needs you the most at any given time.
