Position: Network Administration Manager

Reporting to: ICT Director
Supervises: Network Administration Coordinators and Officers
Broad Role:
To be charged with the responsibility of managing the company’s Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) functions i.e. Network maintenance, recovery, topology, security and availability.
Duties and Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science /Management Information Systems /Engineering or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years experience in a busy networking environment 3 of which should be at management levelProve of experience in network system design, development methods and techniques.Required Skills and Competencies
Extensive knowledge of computer network system engineering (Preferably MCSE)Considerable knowledge of capabilities, utilization, and limitations of data processing equipmentGood knowledge of standard computer languages and operating systems, including AIX or UNIXGood knowledge of VPN, IP addressing and TCP/IP networking (including networking technology such as CCNP)Broad knowledge of network management practices and proceduresInterested candidates holding the necessary requirements are encouraged to send their hard copy application with clear reference of the job code on the envelope, detailed CV, names and contact of 3 referees, one of whom must be a former employer, copies of certificates, testimonials, current telephone number and email address on or before March 5 , 2012 to the address indicated below.
