As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing event planning for our clients from the point of first contact, to coordination & oversight, through conclusion and follow up.
Your skills will include new business generation, strong organizational ability, flexibility in both approach and work schedule, and a never wavering focus on client satisfaction.
You must be a great sales person with ability to attract, lead and retain top talent in the Kenyan wedding industry. You must be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing with strong interpersonal skills to foster rapport with clients and team members.
Regular reporting will occur on sales goals, budgetary results, competition and industry trends.
In addition to the skills above, we are looking for the following minimum qualifications:
Receiving, documenting and promptly responding to all incoming leads (via website, phone, email & various sites)Following up with prospective clients.Walking through, with clients, all aspects of hosting a wedding or other special event (including estimated charges)Arranging site visits, as necessary.Generating contracts and reviewing with clients.Obtaining signed contracts and securing necessary deposits.Continuing to work with the clients during the entire planning phase.Position offers excellent working terms along with an attractive salary commensurate with experience.
