Job Description

Nutritionist & Retail Shop Manager – Malindi, Kenya

Our client, who imports and distributes supplements, is looking to recruit a Nutritionist & Retail Shop Manager based in Malindi.

The ideal candidate MUST have experience in nutrition and retail management.

Key Responsibilities;

Manage quantity food service department and nutrition services.

Supervise activities of the shop.

Promotion of health products.

Evaluating a client’s nutritional needs.

Providing nutritional counselling and advice to clients.

Creating a clinical nutrition treatment plan for a client.

Educating the public on nutrition issues.

Researching the effects of nutrition on health and fitness.

Stock management.

Client relationship management.

Submit reports to the directors.

Perform any other duty as assigned.

Qualifications;

Must have a Higher Diploma in Nutrition / Food Science / Dietetics or a related field.

Must have 2 years experience in a retail set up.

Must be willing to relocate to Malindi.

Must be 30 years and above.

Must have people management skills.

Must be self motivated.

Excellent computer skills.

Excellent communication and Customer Service Skills.

Have interest in health food and supplements.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 25,000 – 35,000/= (Approx. 250 – 350 USD) depending on experience
