Job Title: Project Sales Engineer – Lighting Systems
Salary: 120K – 150K plus Commissions
Our client provides efficient energy solutions focusing on electricity management.
They deliver a broad range of high quality, stable and reliable LED lighting systems.
As part of their expansion plan in the country, they seek to hire a seasoned and qualified sales engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the company’s efficient lighting proposition to clients and provide technical solutions and operational expertise
- Establish long term working relationships with electrical contractors and consultants
- Promote the company’s projects business
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements
- Co-ordinating sales projects
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how the company’s lighting solutions will meet client needs
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Negotiating tender and contract terms
- Managing and interpreting client requirements
- Offering after-sales support services
- Managing client accounts
- Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
Skills / Education
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (other disciplines will also be considered)
- At least 5 years’ experience in Technical sales
- Experience in the Energy Industry will be an added advantage
- Self Driven – Able to drive and run the business
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and sell energy savings models
