Job Title: Business Development Manager, Mortgage

Reporting to: Head, of Schemes and Mortgages
Position Scope: The responsible candidate will be responsible for the growth of the Mortgage book through sales, credit process and maintenance of asset quality to derive revenue generation in line with the unit’s budget.
He or She will also provide Strategic guidance and leadership to Mortgage specialists, Premium Relationship Managers, Business Bankers and DSRs well as establish business relationships with Developers, Real Estate Agent and Scheme Companies to ensure sales objectives are attained.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement mortgage strategic plan to establish new lines of business to support mortgage assets growth in all branches
- Grow deposits through growth of mortgage schemes
- To create sustainable partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure people and personal development of the team through trainings; leave management and clear performance objectives.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and contributing to training programs, educational workshops, homes Expos, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks.
- Ensure full participation of the sales teams in Open days, Activations, expos, bus tours/Site visits and Branch initiatives for leads generation and closure.
- To ensure all matters relating to security perfection and offer letters are followed up and handled within agreed turnaround time.
- Proactive solutions to customer service related issues at NBK Care and front facing
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting/returns as required.
- Ensures the protection of the Bank’s interests in matters of adequate documentation, adherence to Bank policy.
Minimum Position Qualification Requirement
- A University degree in a business related field
- Seven (7) years’ experience in General Banking, two(2) of which must be in Mortgage sales
- Sound knowledge in general credit lending and practice
- Two (2) years’ experience in Business Relationship management
