Job Vacancy: Trade Commissioner (Clean Technology)
The High Commission of Canada is seeking to recruit a highly-qualified candidate with significant experience in the Clean Technology sector. Role
Under the direction of the Regional Senior Trade Commissioner, this Trade Commissioner will contribute to the successful delivery of the International Business Development (IBD) program.
The candidate will support Canadian companies in the clean technology sector that are seeking to grow their business and work with a rich network of potential customers, investors and partners.
Working in close collaboration with colleagues across the continent, the Trade Commissioner will take a leadership role on regional projects related to clean technology.
The position will initially be staffed on a term basis through March 31, 2021, but there is a possibility that it will become indeterminate.
Qualifications
Language: fluency in English, oral and written.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university or an acceptable combination of education, training and work experience related to the duties and specific areas of competence required.
Experience: At least five (5) years of professional experience working in business development or program management or consultant capacity in the private and/or public sector, including at least (3) years of recent experience related to clean technologies.
