Trans Nzoia County Assistant Job (Agricultural)

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for certificate holders. An officer at this level will assist senior officers in the provision of agricultural extension services. Specific duties and responsibilities will involve mobilizing, training and advising farmers on matters relating to agricultural extension services in a working unit.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), mean grade C- or its equivalent;


• Attended two (2) year Certificate Course in any of the following fields. Agriculture, Food and Technology, Agriculture and Home Economics, or any
  other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.


• Certificate of Good Conduct from Directorate of Criminal Investigation;

A duly filled CPSB.1 (2020) form, written application, CV, copies of certificates, testimonials and National Identity Card should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the left side, the position being applied for and addressed to:

NOTE: To meet the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, applicants are required to get certificates from the under listed organizations:-

1. Kenya Revenue Authority.


2. Higher Education Loans Board.


3. Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.


4. Criminal Investigation Department.


5. Credit Reference Bureau.
