ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS The county is composed of six Constituencies, 15 administrative divisions namely: Ainamoi,Belgut, Kabianga, Bureti, Roret, Cheborge, Sigowet and Soin. Other Admibnistrative Divisions are: Kunyak, Chilchila, Kamasian, Kipkelion, Londiani, Sorget and Chepseon. These are further su-devided into 85 locations that are further sub-divided into 209 sub-locations. It covers an area of2,479 sq. km.
Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Specific duties and responsibilities
- Carrying out feasibility studies;
- Planning and designing water supply and supply and sewerage infrastructure;
- Carrying out research activities in various aspects of water, sewerage and hydraulic systems;
- Assisting in developing project proposals;
- Assisting in preparation of drawings, cost estimates, and Bill of Quantities for water and sanitation projects;
- In charge of project implementation as a project Engineer and site supervision;
- Assist in preparation of technical andproject progress reports from time to time;
- Assist in evaluating tenders for works projects;
- Oversee management of entrusted County Resources
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must: –
- Be in possession of a Bachelor Degree in Civil or Water Engineering from a recognized institution;
- Have Proficiency in computer applications skills;
- Must be a graduate Engineer.
