The 5 tent luxury camp is located in the Selous, Tanzania. This position is open to a strong camp management couple or two single managers (Front of House and Back of House) who have a minimum of six years experience in a similar position.

Back of House duties include

Cost control/stores managementRemote logistics procurementF&B stocksManagement of workshop, vehicles, boats, generators and other machinery, fuel & lubricantsGeneral maintenance & repairsCamp accountsProven ability and experience to oversee the repairs and maintenance of the camp, including vehicles, build, plumbing, generatorsExcellent administration skillsExcellent staff management and mentoring skillsGood IT skills (Tally 9, Word, Excel)Good Swahili a definite added advantage.Must be highly efficientMust be physically fitQuality control - Kitchen, mess, roomsHuman Resource managementEnd of month reportsPark fees & RegulationsImprest requirementsShop management and accountabilityMedical stockDetail and quality focusedPossess a passion for excellent foodExcellent people and hostessing skills Excellent staff management and mentoring skillsGood Swahili a definite added advantage.Creative personalityMust be physically fitBoth incumbents must have a minimum of six years of working with Tanzanian or Kenyan staff.

Staff management and mentoring are an extremely important part of the position.

Hours of work

Three months on duty, 2 weeks off duty. Flights into and out of camp provided.Medical14 bed nights free of charge in the company’s camps, plus 12 bed nights for family and friends at very low rates.Remuneration: Upon application
